Nate Johnson
Pastor Nate is originally from the Ozarks region of Missouri. He came to faith at the age of 9, while reading a Bible he stole from an abandoned trailer. After being discipled by his grandmother, Lucille, his desire to enter the ministry began around the age of 12. Nate completed an undergraduate degree in Philosophy & Religion at the College of the Ozarks and went on to complete his Master’s of Divinity degree at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis.
Nate is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). He and his wife Laurel have four daughters and live in Blaine.
Nate has had the joy of pastoring Christ Community Church since the spring of 2023. He loves ministering to the town of Blaine through Word and Sacrament at Christ Community church, and through practical means as the director of CAP’s Crisis Assistance and Chaplain Team. Nate has a passion for rural and small-town ministry. In his spare time, he enjoys board games, reading, and anything outdoors.
