Pastor Lon Graham

Pastor Lon was born and raised in Texas. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Languages from Union University in 2002 and did graduate work at Regent College in Vancouver. He first moved to the Northwest in 1998, when he moved to Seattle to do mission work on college campuses.

He is married to Amy and has four children.

When my wife and I first walked through the front door of Christ Community Church back in 2002, little did either of us know that we would still be here today. My plan was to go to Regent College for a couple of years, get my masters degree, and then go off someplace else to get a doctorate.

I wonder if God laughs at our plans sometimes.

His plan was for me to burn out at Regent, run out of money, move back to Texas, take a position at a church in North Carolina that did not work out, and then come back to Blaine to be the pastor of Christ Community Church.

I have loved this church and these people since I first came here. Before I was their pastor, I was their brother in Christ, who prayed with them, talked with them, taught them, learned from them, and loved them. That God would see fit to bring me back here to serve them in this capacity is a blessing beyond what I could have imagined or hoped for.

I know what it is like to be a visitor at Christ Community Church, and I will tell you what you will find here. In this church, you will find kind, warm-hearted people who love the Lord, love the Bible, love to pray, love the gospel, and love to see lives transformed by the work of Christ and His Spirit. Most importantly of all, you will find that God is in and among these people. It is my privilege to lead them.

I hope that you will join us and see for yourself what I first saw years ago.

In Christ,

Pastor Lon
